*** Attention Road Warriors! *** We have an excellent direct-hire permanent career opportunity for a Robotics and Automated Material Handling Field Service Technician, preferably with some electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience working for a growing automated material handling machinery engineering and service company to support their cutting-edge machine technology in the U.S.  Ideally, you would be based in Atlanta or near a major South-Southeast airport hub.

Responsibilities include:

* Deliver hands-on technical, electrical, and robotics support and install technology solutions at manufacturing and distribution facilities across the U.S.

* Perform equipment installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance, inspections, service, and reporting

* Substantial planned and scheduled travel (80-100%) in the U.S. (Oklahoma to the Carolinas); Occasional travel to Canada and Europe (manufacturing, staging, training)


* Vocational-Technical School, Certificate, or Diploma, or prefer an Associates Degree in technical field

* 2+ years of industrial mechanical, electrical, industrial automation, maintenance, repairs, and support experience (prefer experience with automated material handling systems, conveyors, and robotics)

* Knowledge and proficiency with industrial electrical systems, automated machinery, electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics, diagnostic/test/measurement tools, and common computer software applications

* Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills, and technical report writing skills

* Ability to travel approximately 80-100% and be on customer site for several days or weeks at a time, mainly Oklahoma to the Carolinas with occasional travel to Canada and Europe (manufacturing, staging, training)

* Must have Valid U.S. Drivers License and Passport
