Salary: $35-$50K (dependent on exp.; 35K for Jr. level (1+ yrs. prof exp.), up to 50K for someone with 3+ yrs. specifically in leasing, and between there for more professional exp. in another relevant area)

Commission: 20K+ in commissions can be expected in the first 12 months (can't begin earning until after first 3 months); top performers make up to 80-90K once established, while average person makes around 70K.

Position Overview:

The BDA will be responsible for contributing to the growth of the organization via inside-sales. Some outbound cold calls are to be expected daily. The Business Development Analyst position provides internal support for the leasing sales process.

This position is viewed as a developmental opportunity.  Measurable success sourcing prospects and converting them to productive accounts can lead to advancement as a Business Development Manager.  Responsibilities include developing and accomplishing regional lead generation, meeting or exceeding monthly and annual targets.

This candidate will act as the liaison between lessee, business development managers and the support staff (credit, documentation, funding, administrative, etc.)  This position is Ideal for self-motivated, Type-A personalities and has unlimited income potential.

Required:

  • Ideally aggressive, energetic candidate w/2+ yrs. relevant exp.; Need driven & intelligent individual who will serve as QB for all incoming deals
  • Heavy inside sales, fantastic telephone sales skills a must
  • Outbound calls into financial investors, brokers, and C-level execs of Fortune 1000 companies w/1M+ in net assets - 20-25 calls per day, some days 0 calls
  • Research, analytical, profiling, and negotiation skills
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

Responsibilities:

  • Identify decision makers and generate leads for the sales team through outgoing calls.
  • Market research, providing actionable analysis and intelligence.
  • Facilitate proposal of all new deals and track the deal through acceptance or decline
  • Support Business Development Managers; act as a liaison between the internal and external teams
  • Together with the portfolio management team, determine essential strategic sales approaches
  • Capturing accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
  • Maintaining and expanding the database of prospects of the organization.
