Johnson Service Group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader in the Jefferson City, MO for one of our key clients. This is a direct hire opportunity!

The ideal candidate will have experience in support projecting leaders and teams through; value stream analysis, Kaizen facilitation, team selection and management, data collection and analysis, development and implementation of process improvements

Tasks:

  • Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence strategy and tools
  • Coordinate and lead Kaizen events
  • Teach, coach, and mentor continuous improvement thinking.
  • Serve as a change agent promoting the use of continuous improvement methodology across all departments
  • Continually challenge conventional thinking and drive accountability for results and deployment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years of experience implementing principles of Lean in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing strategies and principles
  • Six Sigma training/certification
  • Experience of being a Change Agent challenging conventional thinking, approach and methodology and driving Improvements
  • Experience facilitating Kaizen events: 40, 50, 60
  • Proficiency with software applications such as MS-office, project management and Visio
  • Great communication and influential skills
