Johnson Service Group is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader for our global manufacturing client in Jackson, MS.

The ideal candidate will have a strong hands on leadership approach and experience running multiple kaizen events a month.

Summary:

  • Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence strategy and tools
  • Coordinate and lead Kaizen events
  • Teach, coach, and mentor continuous improvement thinking.
  • Serve as a change agent promoting the use of continuous improvement methodology across all departments
  • Continually challenge conventional thinking and drive accountability for results and deployment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience implementing principles of Lean in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing strategies and principles
  • Six Sigma training/certification - Black Belt preferred
  • Experienced Change Agent challenging conventional thinking, approach and methodology and driving Improvements
  • Experience facilitating Kaizen events: 40+
  • Great communication and influential skills
