Johnson Service Group (JSG) is teamed with a global leader in the aerospace, defense and commercial markets who is seeking a talented Customer Sales Demand/Forecasting Manager to determine future sales forecasts as well as resources and material. 

 Scope of Experience and Responsibilities:

  • 2-3+ years of related sales, planning and/or manufacturing experience, preferably in the Aerospace/Defense industries.
  • Will monitor and analyze data to support forecasting, order entry, order delivery, etc.
  • Responsible for communicating forecasting requirements to supply chain/planning input in developing a Demand Forecast.
  • Provide reports Demand Review Meetings, including:  Actual to Sales Plan; Profit Plan/Forecast; Bookings analysis and Forecast QDRC metrics.
  • Provide necessary data for reports for BTO, including: Analyze variances of forecast from prior month; Analyze major adjustments and Reconcile differences in forecast vs. actual orders.
  • Provides Supply Difference Report and reconcile differences in forecast vs. actual orders, per the planning department. 
  • Daily/weekly actions to manage, develop and maintain forecast assumptions for Sales Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Distribute weekly customer shipment report and bookings and month-end customer shipment/bookings reports.
  • Maintain forecasting for new products review and communicate details by item and product code to the Master Scheduler team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office Suite, including Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with data mining tool such as Monarch, and a report writer (i.e. Business Objects).
  • SAP or similar ERP system experience is preferred. 
  • Experience with ADAM forecasting tool (is a plus) for reports for demand data. 

Education:  Two year Associates Degree in Business or a similar discipline is a plus.
