The Customer Service Specialist - Purchasing will facilitate the purchasing process from dispatch until delivery of product through confirmation and expediting of open purchases with suppliers, identifying necessary updates to purchases while updating the status for open orders and reviewing and purchasing of stock material requests stock through an ERP system.

Ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills within a purchasing environment. This would include:

  • Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, with internal and external customers – vendors, suppliers, field staff
  • Proven experience dealing with difficult customers and/or difficult situations

Requirements:

  • Experience with expediting, confirming and reconciling purchase orders.
  • Must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills – including v-lookups and pivot tables
