Our client a leader in transportation services in the metropolitan Philadelphia area is seeking a long term contract Engineering Construction Department Administrator to work in its Philadelphia office. 

Pay rate: $29.18 per hour.  

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage clients responding and notification responsibilities of the PA 1 Call Response System, including coordination with in-house forces and 3rd party stakeholders.  These specific responsibilities include:
  • Processing Emergency, Routine and Design tickets daily to ensure timely and lawful responses
  • Ensuring the safety of workers and the general public in the execution of tasks
  • Protection of company`s interests relative to damage avoidance of client underground facilities.
  • Protection of company`s interests relative to encroachment onto client property.
  • Ensuring timely and effective communication and coordination among internal and external customers relative to projects.
  • Performing on-going maintenance and verification of companies as-built records in support of PA1 Call responding responsibilities
  • Understanding the State laws and PA1 Call requirements surrounding excavation as they relate to public safety.
