Johnson Service Group is looking for a Facilities Space Planner.  The Space Planner will operate on-site to support and assist the Facilities Management Unit and perform functions such as interior design, tenant improvement drawing updates, AutoCAD, test-fits, and meeting with customers to prepare and provide workspace reconfigurations. The Space Planner will have knowledge of applicable facilities management software. The peripheral software/hardware may include, and is not limited to, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office 360 Suite, plotters, and other Valley Water applications.


  • Modify existing and provide updated AutoCAD drawings.
  • Modify existing and provide updated workspace configuration plans.
  • Modify existing and provide updated base architecture plans as they relate to tenant improvements.
  • Attend project and client meetings and carry out appropriate next steps.
  • Modify existing and provide updated facility evacuation and hazardous materials plans and maps.
  • Prepare and provide furniture audits.
  • Modify existing and provide updated employee locator maps.

Education: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by twelve (12) college semester units in engineering, geography, mathematics, or a related field.


Directly related experience may be substituted for the required education on the basis of one year and one-half years of experience for one year of education to a maximum of four years.

Minimum Experience:

Five (5) years of responsible technical engineering support experience.
