Position Summary for Level 2 Program Analyst

Coordinate and perform program change management for Learjet aircraft production, aircraft completion, or aircraft in-service programs. Developing risk plan/action.

Minimum Requirements  

  • Associates degree in Accounting or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Project Management Institute’s (PMI) project management body of knowledge (PMBOK).
  • Working knowledge of process improvement methodology and application (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • Working knowledge of Bombardier Change Management system and Program Manager tool.
  • Presentation and communication skills to achieve increased process/project harmonization and improvements.
  • Typically, a minimum of 5 years project/program management experience.
  • Working knowledge of Project Management Institute’s (PMI) project management body of knowledge (PMBOK).
  • Working knowledge of functional responsibilities and internal processes of groups supporting the change management process, for example, Engineering, Customer Support, Spares, and Technical Publications.
  • Financial analysis skills necessary to prepare a business case in support of program change requests.

Essential Functions

  • Develops, prepares, and submits business cases for assigned projects to program manager for approval.
  • Develops implementation plan for program change based upon strategy from steering committee to ensure commitments from business representatives and alignment with program business objectives.
  • Provides technical support and project data to management in support of presentations covering program change status and activity for scheduled governance meetings, for example, Weekly Director Program Steering (WDPS), Change Implementation Team (CIT), and Change Coordination Team (CCT).
