Recruiting Sourcer

Recruiting Sourcer who will play a key role in the growth and success of Xylem’s Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence by proactively identifying and assessing candidates to find the best talent for Xylem

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years’ experience as a Recruiting Sourcer or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS), preferably Jobvite
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
  • Effective time-management abilities

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work with recruiters and internal hiring managers to understand position requirements and build our strategic sourcing plans
  • Independently develop and maintain candidate flow, supporting a variety of job functions (engineering, supply chain, business, marketing, project management)
  • Source candidates through a variety of search resources (social media, internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, company targets, referrals, etc.)
  • Educate, excite and sell candidates on both the opportunity and why Xylem should be the employer of choice
  • Conduct detailed, thorough candidate interviews and present qualified candidates to the Recruiter/Hiring Manager for further consideration
  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (Boolean search)
  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired • Maintain candidate databases via Jobvite (Applicant Tracking System)
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities

  • Physical Demands - Light lifting (20-25 lbs.), office environment
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility Work Environment
  • Office: Standard office equipment; work usually performed in an office setting free from any disagreeable elements.
  • Standard weekly job hours: 40 hours

Education:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent recruiting experience
