Johnson Service Group, Inc., is actively seeking a Sr. Developer to work with our client near the Atlanta airport area.  This is a great opportunity to join a Fortune 500, global organization and our client is hiring immediately.


  • Sr. Developer will be responsible for development of web services & use of APIs for Maintenance Tracking & Configuration system within the maintenance division, TechOps.
  • Focus will be mechanic-facing web applications but will also include ad hoc projects for organization supporting TechOps such as HR and Supply Chain.
  • Acts as domain expert and partners with peer-level positions across the IT & business organizations in order to build industry best customer experiences


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training in computer systems development - with 6 or more years of experience in IT project based environment Agile and preferably scaled agile experience
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Development Leaders, and other team members to plan and develop effective applications •
  • Accurately estimate deliverable timelines
  • Continuously report progress throughout the development lifecycle
  • Excellent analytical, technology, communication, decision making and problem solving skills
  • The ability to transform business and functional requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience with PHP and MySQL
  • Experience with Laravel and Unit Testing preferable
  • Experience with MongoDB is a plus
  • Working knowledge of adaptive planning software development tools
  • Agile methodology and JIRA experience are preferred
  • Experience with RESTful web services
  • Working knowledge of distributed version control systems
  • Experience with git is preferable
  • Experience working in a deadline driven environment while managing multiple projects
  • Understanding of UI/UX patterns and best practices
  • Authoritative experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript o Experience with ES6 and Typescript o Experience with CSS preprocessors, specifically SCSS, is preferred
  • Experience crafting unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with Karma and Protractor
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
  • Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks o AngularJS, Angular 5+, and VUE.js are preferred
  • Experience with RESTful web services
  • Working knowledge of distributed version control systems o Experience with GIT is preferable
  • Expertise of front end development workflows and tools o Experience with Gulp, Webpack, AngularCLI, and Yarn preferred


  • Develop appropriate software and documentation according to company standards; delivering with Quality and Speed and based on business requirements
  • Support and troubleshoot computer applications & systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow up on all problems
  • Follow company standards and methodologies in the development and implementation of computer software
  • Determine feasibility, timing, and cost of api & web services development, interacting with business and product owners in order to define technical solutions for customer problems Production issue triage, management, and prevention
  • Technical debt resolutions, prevention & code reviews
  • Monitor metrics, problems, trends, etc., in order to determine solutions, required process changes, etc. always striving for more efficiency
