Johnson Service Group is looking for a Student Intern to work with outreach programs. 


  • This position will include renewal and processing of Adopt-A-Creek (AAC) applications.
  • Help identify schools near adoptable creek sites
  • Assist with Coastal Cleanup Day logistics (i.e. Site Coordinator Meeting, Creek Connections Action Group planning meetings, permit processing, outreach, etc.)
  • Help with Volunteer Recognition Event logistics and planning.
  • Order AAC signage for new partners and creek site assessments.
  • Help take Inventory of water district signage at facilities.


  • Requires skills In Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Event planning and coordination.
  • Prefer someone with GIS background and ability to navigate WordPress.
  • Basic administrative skills.
  • Outreach, communication, and writing skills are also essential for this position.
  • Must maintain enrollment in an accredited college, maintaining a minimum of 9 units.
