Our client located in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania is a company that touches more than a billion people`s lives each day though it`s healthcare products and services is seeking an experienced Technical Systems Associate in a full time permanent role offering an hourly pay rate of $30.00/hr. and benefits. 

  • The primary purpose of the role is to provide technical support to the manufacturing and packaging process of consumer pharmaceutical products at clients facility with an enhanced emphasis on work related to repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and efficiency improvement associated with electrical and instrumental devices and systems.
  • Technical support includes performing and documenting maintenance, performing and documenting adjustments to process equipment, contributing to change control activities, projects and facility outages.
  • Associates will support operations in equipment change over and provide technical direction to operating associates when assigned.

Education:

AS or BS Degree in technical discipline with an emphasis on automation and computer science technology, or someone who has graduated from a post-high school trade program. (i.e. programming PLCs, expertise in electrical/electronic systems on packaging/manufacturing equipment and control processing instrumentation).   Specialized skills in one facet of job functions will not qualify a person for this position.  Five years of relevant technical work experience may be substituted for the technical degree.

Experience:

Three years of technical experience in a GMP manufacturing environment with specific focus in the following areas.

*Electrical abilities to include;

 * Troubleshooting and repair of electrical circuits.

 * Interpreting P&ID Schematic diagrams and machinery drawings

 * PLC diagnostics

   * Experience with Allen Bradley with RSLogix 500/500

   *Experience with Wonder Ware and R.S. View

 *Servo Drive & Frequency drive troubleshooting and repair

 *Solid basis in process control technology including process equipment design,

   instrumentation control system components and software applications. 

*Experience with new line and equipment installations including equipment design, URS

  parameter selection and programming.

*Ability to quickly diagnose and repair equipment both mechanically and electrically.

*Changeover reduction experience.

*High degree of computer system and software application experience including Windows OS,

 Windows server OS, Visual Basic, EXCEL, database applications including MS SQL AND

  ACCESS, working knowledge of LAN preferred.

*Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb a ladder with a combination of standing and sitting up 

  to 12 hours.
